No more words, straight to the installation:

  • Download the package
  • Upload all files to the right location
  • Open admin/js/jakeditor.js
In the file find:
 
plugins : "pdw,autosave,autolink,safari,spellchecker,layer,advhr,advimage,advlink,advlist,emotions,media,searchreplace,contextmenu,paste,directionality,fullscreen,visualchars,jakadminimage,jakadminexplorer,wordcount",
 
Replace with:
 
plugins : "pdw,autosave,autolink,safari,spellchecker,layer,advhr,advimage,advlink,advlist,emotions,media,searchreplace,contextmenu,paste,directionality,fullscreen,visualchars,jakadminimage,jakadminexplorer,wordcount,jakshl,preelementfix",
 
and then find:
 
theme_advanced_buttons2 : "underline,justifyfull,|,backcolor,|,outdent,indent,|,charmap,|,media,|,search,replace,|,fullscreen,|,undo,redo,|,ltr,rtl,|,emotions,|,code,pasteword,removeformat",
 
and replace with:

Known bugs: Paste HTML code into the syntax highlighter will work only once, when edit the page tinymce cleans up the html code.
